Turning Stone Resort Casino Evolution
Syracuse, NY
The Turning Stone Evolution represents the most significant reinvestment in the resort in two decades and one of the largest hospitality expansions currently underway in New York State. Designed by global architecture firm Gensler and delivered by Hayner Hoyt in joint venture with T.N. Ward, the $370 million project reimagines Turning Stone Resort Casino as a premier hospitality, convention, and entertainment destination. The expansion introduces The Crescent, a ten-story luxury hotel with 258 guest rooms, including 23 suites, alongside The Grand Expo, a new conference center anchored by a grand ballroom and a suite of meeting and event spaces, and a new parking structure built to support the broader transformation. The scale and complexity of this project demand an exceptional level of coordination.
Hayner Hoyt is leading delivery in active partnership with T.N. Ward, Central New York trade unions, and more than two dozen regional subcontractors, generating hundreds of construction jobs and an estimated $616 million in one-time economic impact across Upstate New York. The Turning Stone Evolution also continues Hayner Hoyt’s long-standing partnership with Turning Stone Enterprises and the Oneida Indian Nation, a relationship that spans the resort’s gaming operations, hospitality venues, and the full seed-to-sale footprint of the Nation’s cannabis enterprise. When complete, Turning Stone will stand among just a handful of venues of its caliber in New York State, and this expansion reflects the shared commitment of Hayner Hoyt, Turning Stone Enterprises, and their partners to building something worthy of that distinction.
