Hotel Syracuse

Hayner Hoyt is serving as Construction Manager for the redevelopment of the iconic Hotel Syracuse in Central New York. The renovations are part of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative and received $3.6 million to help finance the massive project that is projected to come to over $50 million.

The renovations are the first of the hotel since its opening, and will include a complete refurbishment, to include 261 modern rooms (keeping some suites at their original look for historic-minded patrons), 43,000 square feet of meeting spaces, a spa, an exercise facility, and an upscale restaurant.

The lobby and the famous 10th-floor Grand Ballroom were restored to their original look to preserve the historic ties of the Hotel. Hayner Hoyt also overhauled the building’s heating, cooling and electrical systems, and asbestos removal.
