3rd Annual Family Retreat at The Cove at Sylvan Beach

Another unforgettable weekend at The Cove at Sylvan Beach is in the books! For the third year in a row, The Hayner Hoyt Corporation was proud to offer this benefit to our team members, giving everyone and their families the chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy a summer getaway together.

A Weekend of Relaxation, On Us

This retreat has quickly become one of our team’s favorite benefits, and it’s easy to see why. Team members stayed in company-provided cottages for the entire weekend, with boat rentals, family activities, and a catered picnic all covered by The Hayner Hoyt Corporation. No planning, no expenses, no logistics to sort out. Just a weekend to show up, relax, and enjoy time with family, all on us.

It’s one of the more meaningful ways we invest in our people. Everyone works hard year-round, on jobsites, in the office, and everywhere in between, and experiences like this are our way of saying thank you.

Activities for the Whole Family

This year’s retreat brought a packed lineup of activities designed to give every member of the family something to look forward to. Tie-dye stations were set up by the pool, giving team members and their kids a chance to create their own colorful, one-of-a-kind souvenirs from the weekend. Laser tag battles brought out some friendly competition among the group, while scavenger hunts kept kids busy exploring the property in search of hidden treasures.

For those looking for something a little more laid-back, games of cornhole were happening throughout the weekend, and the playground stayed busy with kids making new friends. And of course, no summer retreat would be complete without ice cream, which made for one of the weekend’s sweetest traditions.

Time on the Water

Being on Oneida Lake, time on the water is always a highlight of the retreat, and this year was no exception. With boat rentals available all weekend, team members and their families spent their days out on the lake, soaking up the sun and making the most of everything The Cove has to offer right from the water.

 

A Tradition Worth Celebrating

For the third year running, this retreat has grown into something our team genuinely looks forward to each summer. It’s more than a company outing. It’s a chance for our team members and their families to spend uninterrupted time together, make new memories, and be recognized for everything they do throughout the year.
