Meier’s Creek Brewing Company

When Feldmeier Equipment acquired the former Empire Farm Brewery in Cazenovia, they didn’t just see a facility. They saw an opportunity. As the stainless steel tank manufacturer behind the brewery’s original equipment, Feldmeier was uniquely positioned to reimagine the space as both a working showcase for their products and a destination brewpub for Central New York. Hayner Hoyt was brought in to make that vision a reality.

The renovation centered on creating a more immersive guest experience. Windows were installed in the wall separating the bar from the brewing tanks, giving patrons a direct sightline into the heart of the operation. All interior finishes were updated throughout, the kitchen was fully renovated, outdoor seating was expanded, the parking lot was paved, and additional landscaping was added to complement the property’s natural setting.

The result is a space where the craft behind every pour is always visible, and every visit feels like an insider’s look at what great brewing looks like from the ground up.
